At Best Buy

Hey guys!

I really really really want RCT2. I called Best Buy and they said they had it. Has anyone else went there and saw that it was there? I just wasn't sure if the guy on the phone was confused with LL and CR and GT.

The Best Buy in Austin, TX certainly doesn't have it.

I was just at Best Buy in Crossgates Mall here in Albany, NY. They didnt have it. They have it in the back but it wont be on shelves until Tuesday.

I got my copy at Target yesturday afternoon after I got out of my Java class.

I really hope they put it out before the 15th, because I have to get mine at Best Buy since I'm short on cash but have a ton of Best Buy cards.

Make sure you have them read the title that is on the box before going out there. My Target said 'Yeah we have RCT and Loopy Landscapes' in response to 'Do you have Rollercoaster Tycoon 2?'. Maybe I will call Best Buy...or I could just wait...

I work at a Best Buy store, and I had to buy mine at Target. The way it looks right now, it's not hitting the BBY stores (at least not mine) until the 15th

Yeah, what Target did you get it in? I was going to take a trip down to Crossgates this weekend to get it, but I wont anymore. I'll just hit the Target in Wilton. I hope they have a copy there.

Spryboy - which Best Buy? I just went to the one off 290 and MoPac. No dice. Same goes for the Target across the street, although they did have a space and sticker for it on the shelf. Keep a fellow Austinite posted if you find anything out.

I called comp usa right off Michigan Ave(in Chicago) and the response I got to the question was "Yes, we have nine copies." I go there and there are nine copies--of Roller Coaster Tycoon. This ticked me off because I wasted 30 precious minutes of my life looking for a game that wasn't even there.

I looked at the Best Buy down south (Mopac and Ben White), the Target and WalMart right there, as well as the CompUSA over on Brodie. Not even a 'space' for it at any of the places. I'm thinking we won't see it until the 15th.

I'd like to get it for the weekend, for obvious reasons :-(

Well, I got mine at Target in Owensboro, KY. I got the very last one. And, it wasn't even on the shelf, I asked if they had anymore, and they had one in the back. I was sooo happy. GREAT GAME!

Madison Best Buy stores have it in stock as of tonight, so it's worth checking.

Surprisingly, Target did not.

Best Buy on North Ave. in Chicago has them. They aren't out on the shleves yet, but if you ask for one they'll sell it to you.

Best buy in levittown long island had it on the shleves on teusday night.

I usually don't buy "old" games at Target because they don't discount them as much. But for brand new games, virtually all stores sell them at the same price...

Vipper, I don't anyone really cares the price. I'm just desperate to get it anywhere I can regardless of the price. And like Redman said it is 30 bucks everywhere.

How do you generalize that people buy their software at Target? The only reason everyone has gone there in this case is because they're the only ones who had it early.
