You never know who's reading....

I am a seasonal employee at Paramount's Kings Dominion. Today at work I picked up the employee newsletter, entitled "Paramount's Kings Dominion - Star Weekly". I picked up Volume 8 Issue 27 - September 21, 2002. The following was an article in it.

This goes to show that you really never know who's around and who's reading these posts.

I always thought about that. I have to say hands up to PKD for my visit this season. They were alot better then BGW.

PKD always does have great service and employees. Definately one of my favorite parks and dare I say, even better than PKI?

Yeah, and I am sure those executive's who read the posts on here also read the posts in a topic exactly like this a month ago.

Well it's great news that PKD recognizes coasterbuzz and is well aware of the intrest in the park by the enthusiast community,I wonder if management knows that we are all eagerly awaiting the opening of drop zone in 2003,I'm dying to see some construction footage of PKD's latest thriller myself and can hardly wait to "drop in" on PKD in 03.

I am sure Jeff Siebert may have something to do with people from Paramount reading Coasterbuzz.

Kudos to great management at all the Paramout Parks.

Wow, pretty cool (pretty HOT, too)....if I had known I was "quotable...I probably would've cleaned up the punctuation, LOL.....but then how would anyone recognize it was me...;). Seriously, the whole staff at PKD/DW/HP made the off-time from the DC work trip "a blast"...pardon the pun....and they are to be commended...GREAT job, guys!

Then again, this is a double edged sword. When I worked at PKI, I got introuble for saying somthing that I didn't say. Now I'm free of there little clause and could go spouting secrets but I was treated fairly well so I will not

Hell, SFGAdv sure doesn't do that. We get the "Daily Alert" which has park operating times, showtimes, closed locations (Evolution always at the top) and the HotBox, which has main employee events. Trips, promotions, transfer offers, etc. Nothing besides that. Not like the management at SFGAdv cares enough to do anything though. They're all a bunch of (insert 4-letter word here) and can't run a park.

Did I mention I no longer work there?

That is so cool!!! I'm glad I shared my thoughts right here on Coasterbuzz. I was hoping that someone from the crew would read the post and share it with the rest of the crew. I guess the crew knows now!

Six Flags New England World

Wow, fast service on Volcano? That sure doesn't happen everyday, & hasn't happened in all of my 6 times in there! We ride Volcano early by law, mainly due to the standing around the station aspect! Of all the things great I can say about PKD, I cannot say anything great about the Volcano experience or the cart(go on, give 'em another excuse to haul more crap around;)), only how good the ride actually is.

p_c_r, that cart does mean that folks carrying around "all their worldly possesions" don't have the negative impact on capacity that they often do otherwise....what on Earth do people bring all that *stuff* along for....

I don't even pick up souvenirs until closing as a general rule...;)

I've been seriously hit hard by people standing in front of me deciding to make a quick motion change for no reason, forgetting that they've got all the bricks they'll ever need in their bags, CRUNCH, right in the ribs & such! I have NO IDEA what these people are carrying around, it's safe to say they do not need these things & are an inconvenience to those of us who know where we're going when we leave the house or hotel. It's also safe to say that people who do not carry backpacks do not bump into people, it's always somebody with something;). True, my wife has lost me on several occassions because I got took down by somebody's stuff......

The parks letting you know they're not responsible should be enough for people to minimize the cargo lug, but it doesn't. Tell me you're not responsible for my things & I'll have a teenie little assortment of things I WILL need, you know? Loose not what bring not.
