Recently, the on-ride cameras for Batman & Robin: The Chiller, were removed. In 2001, when Robin was open, I was able to purchase a photo of me on Robin with the new lapbars (see profile). The picture came out very good.
Now, I'm hearing that two of the Flight Of Fear Cameras have been turned off as well. Is there some sort of problem with the cameras and capturing a good picture? As you can see from my profile, it took a very good picture. Anybody know why?

How much more floorless can they get?
I wouldn't be so sure that novelty in a ride plays much or any role in removing an on ride photo system.
Take SFA's Roar for example,it's wrapping up it's 4th season at the park and still has it's on ride camera, whereas Mind eraser had it's camera removed in 97,just 2 years after the coaster added.
I'm wondering if cost is a factor,if the photos on a certain ride aren't selling as much as expected then maybe parks should consider lowering the cost in order to see a profit.

Well, sure! People would love to buy a pic of them smiling, laughing, and having fun on Roar. Why would they want to buy a pic of themselves wincing in pain on Mind Eraser? :)

Actually, PKD's FoF has added some new stuff this year. You now get an Alien riding in the seat behind you, and they added Crisp Flat Screens.
I enjoy On-Ride Photos personally. I love making funny faces on it, then see it when I'm done and watch people laugh at me. Good Times!
