Apollo's Chariot and Raging Bull...

I just got done watching America's Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills: The Next Generation, and I noticed something I never saw before. Apollo's Chariot and Raging Bull have 9 rows of seats, unlike all others with 8.

Is this to help with the weight of the trains to make them more like hyper trains?

Is it just for capacity reasons? If so, then why only on the hypers?

Why not on B&M's with inversions?

Would more rows on B&M's with inversions cause to much speed, which would make it pull too many G's?

I hope there aren't too many questions in this. :)

I don't know why this is, all I know is Raging Bull's first drop in row 9 is just awesome, IMHO better then Millennium Force's.

I never noticed that before. Praise to B&M for adding the ninth row! The air on the first hill of Bull in row 9 is phenominal! Let's hope that the new coaster at SFGAd will also have 9 rows.

I think that's pretty funny that you've ridden it, and didn't notice it had 9 rows! :)

Although it is not B&M, Mill. Force has 9 cars, and In RCT, you can build a 9-car train on your inverteds. Choas that operated at Opryland had like 30 or 40 cars on its train.

I just head for the back row and don't stop to count how many are in front of me! :)

As for Chaos at Opryland. Good lord that was a long train! I think it was 40 car-80 passenger. I never saw a station that was a giant "U" until that one!

Raging Bull at SFGAm was on TV!!!! What channel was it?

It wasn't on TV. It is on a movie that can be bought called "America's Greates Coaster Thrills" The Next Generation. There is also The Ultimate Scream Machines which I have for DVD.

I think the trains are longer so it can have a great affect for the riders (air-time, fast speed, tight turns) and it also helps the line. When three trains are running, and Raging Bull's whole line is FILLED, I only waited an hour. The capacity is good also. So it's like hitting two birds with one stone!
