My thought on "Nitro" is that it may be a record smashing giga-coaster and they don't want news of that getting out to other parks who could potentially try to beat that record.
As for New England's stand-up, I'd say that that probably will happen. The original rumor has been around for several weeks, which means a lot at this point in the year. Secondly, track pieces have supposedly been spotted heading north from New York. Dorney Park's Talon would be west, so that strengthens this possibility even more. In addition, the zoning board in Largo, MD (home to SFA where this stand-up was originally planed to go) confirmed that the stand-up was going to be installed. Since Six Flags bought the Flying Dutchman and is now gonna build that at SFA, SFNE seems a prime target for that stand-up.
