Chiller open after Valley?

Does anone know if it opened yet after the valley it had?

I doubt it would close after a valley. Valley's a frequent on a lot of coasters.

That doesn't make much sense, Rubberducky. When a train does valley, the coaster is down until the train can be physically relocated. That can be a long process, especially when it valleys in a place like the Corba roll on Chiller.

On top of that, on a LIM coaster, a valley can be the symptom of a larger problem, not just high winds or a similar common valley cause.

Valleying isn't that frequent on established coasters (Especially full circuit), and a certainly not something a park wants to happen.

Robin valleyed on a wednesday afternoon, batman was running on thursday, both sides were operating by that saturday...not long at all.

That's not too bad. But still it was a 2 1/2 day closure during peak season. It's a BIG job!

The all time record for hauling booty must go to CP for when MF valleyed and that had it runing the same day.

I didn't put that too well, what I meant to say was coasters don't stay closed long after a valley. And depending on the coaster, and where the valley occurs, it isn't too hard to un-valley a coaster.

I was really impressed with how fast they fixed this one. It seemed to take weeks in the past to get it running again. Then again, it usually valleyed at the bottom before going up the spike. Maybe it was easier this time because it was in the cobra roll? Regardless, it got stuck around 6:00pm on the 24th and was testing by 3:00pm and opened shortly there after on the 26th. I don't think any repairs were needed and it has been open consistantly since then.

I remember when that happened,and I went like the day or two after that,and both sides where up,and running like normal.
