Sally Dark Rides

After looking at their cool website, www.sallycorp.com I have another question. Is the Scooby Doo GhostBlasters at SFSL the same as the one at SFFT? I don't think so, because it sounds like the one in St. Louis is a swamp, and the one in Texas is probably dry, but I'm not sure.

Also, I think the new one at PKI will be a copy of the ones at Carowinds and Canada's Wonderland, as they have the same logo.

I doubt it, that is Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion, ours is Scooby Doo's Haunted Castle. Some of the things will have to be different. I'm not sayin the ride will bare no resemblance, but there won't be as many.

The one in SFSTL is boat based. The one at SFFT is vehicle based. Both of them have that interactive dark ride element. The SFSTL version is Sally's largest dark ride to date. They used the existing boats and ride system that has been there a while (castaway kids, etc.) so SF got off pretty cheap with it considering all they had to do was buy the props from Sally and re-theme the boats and queue.

For Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle, I`ve heard that they will reuse the Morgan Manufactured cars that were used for Phantom Theater (adding the ghost blasters of course). I don`t think they`ll be the same because they`re named different and the Phantom Theater building is a lot larger than the one that houses the Scooby Doo ride at Paramount`s Carowinds.

So if PKI uses the same cars they will have the same capacity right? Because the one at PCW has HORRIBLE capacity.

Actually, The one at PCW has 2-seat cars, that is why the capacity is so low. Because of this problem, they used 4-seat cars for Carowinds which doubled the capacity.

Last Question, which one is better, the one at SFFT or the one at SFSL?

I hope PKI uses that same turning floor loading system as PT used. I'm also expecting this one to be bigger than the ones at the other 4 parks.

From what I`ve heard they will use the same ride system that Morgan Manufacturing made, but renovate the cars (adding the ghost blasters). IF you remember Shaggy saying that the last week of Phantom Theater they were running every other car (and faster speed) for an experiment. Sally Dark Rides, if I`m correct, only allow for one car to view each scene at a time and allow for the scenes to be reset. This is why they might only have every other car. I can`t wait to ride this ride!

I think they are going to retheme the cars to Mystery Machines, but use the same chain track.
