Old Indiana - Something happening?...

On our way to Indiana Beach yesterday, we decided to take a peek at the Old Indiana Fun Park. This may be nothing, but they have added a new 10-foot high fence around the entire property, including some adjacent cornfields and the old campground. Could it be remotely possible that Premier Parks/Six Flags is following up on their statement a few years back about reopening the park? Or, is it just a better fence to keep the dismantled rides from escaping? My heart wants the "new" park, but my brain says otherwise.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I'm pretty sure not too long ago there was an article in the IBJ that said they sold their land. I sure hope they didn't and they could possibly be reopening the park, but I highly doubt it. Ok, I just found the link to the IBJ article http://www.ibj.com/topstories.asp?A=10456

They probably put the fence up to stop people from going up close and taking pictures.
