Vekoma Height Limit?

I've always wondered why Vekoma's Hammerhead Stall and their Deja Vu's are at 196 ft. Why don't they go over 200 ft. If anyone knows the answer speak up.

But what about the Six Flags Great America (Ranging Bull), Six Flags Magic Mountain (X, Goliath, and Superman), and Fantasy Island (Stunt Flyer). So I don't thing its a 200 ft. height limit.

Neiller919: There is no doubt that some parks can build rides over the 200 ft mark, but what laurence was getting to is parks that have a height restriction, often it is in the 200 ft range, therefore by building some of their "production" coasters under this limit, they open their products up to a larger market.

Those are the only 3 made so far. If they do get the bugs fixed then other parks might get them. The other parks might have a 200 ft height limit

in fact, the hammerhead stall at fantasy island, due to open sometime in 2003, is actually shorter than the vekoma SLC, Jubilee Odyssey, so its not gonna break the 165ft mark.

and i was saying that some parks do have a 200ft height limit (of course, some are lucky and can build a lot higher, some less lucky and have to stay lower). by keeping these rides below 200ft, it means more parks can look at them as a viable option for a new ride purchase. if they were 225ft tall say, then it would mean that less parks could purchase them.

Wouldn't Vekoma, a European company, design their rides with the metric system (international standard) in mind? If so, 200 ft. is a completely unimportant number.

yeah, they would have to use the metric system, but i should think they have to use imperial sometimes as well. america is the main place for theme parks and use imperial, so they would be more likely to use that

Beast_rocks if you are talking about Deja Vu there are 4. The fourth is in Spain. And correct me if I am wrong but hasnt both SFMM's and SFOG's Deja Vu been working properly. I also hear the SFGRAM has gotten their ride pretty well too
