X Reopens

Does anyone have anymore information on when X will open again? Is there any construction going on at the park now, like fixing the trains or track? Anyone see any activity going on by the ride?

testing continues for now.

it looks like it might open for july 4th and then close again, but for how long is anyones guess

When it was open how were the lines ?

Long, VERY LONG. The lines for X ranged from 3 hours up to close to 7 hours on holidays!

Yea it is.........The good news is that X was seen testing just a couple of days ago, which is a good sign that it could reopen again soon.

They shouldn't test it for so long, it will probably break before they are done

I'm hoping that it will be open in the winter when I go. And the topic is very misleading.

I don't know if X testing is necessarily a sign that it could reopen soon or not. Perhaps they are just testing the trains out further with sophistacted devices to see WHY the trains are having problems in order to fix it?

kara, no kidding about the thread's title....I was thinking the Con couild've been a huge SUCCESS if it was only a week or so later......

bill, thinking the re-opening of X will still take at least another month or so.....

If you don't want to wait for 7 hours to ride X (and I don't), then buy a FastLane Pass. That's exactly what I intend to do. Otherwise, don't complain. There is only one of these beasts in the world. With that in mind the wait isn't that bad.

How much are those, because if it's open around the 20th-25th, I think we might consider the fastpass since I'd be very pissed if we couldn't ride it if it was open.

One quick question, I know at Cedar Point like with Millennium Force, you can get into the line like a minute before closing, and they will let you wait for it. Does X do that??? Or do they just close down the line for it 3-7hrs before closing.

Fastpass at SFMM is $15 for 4 uses. When X is allowing Fastpass, it's still about a 45+ minute wait, which is not bad.

The topic name for this thread really is mis-leading. I really hope they open X when most to all of the problems are completely worked out! That way it really runs consistently with at least 2 trains. I would wait for it if it were four hours or less. 7 Hours is just way too long...it is FASTLANE time then!

Does X have 3 trains or only 2? While it was open, how many trains did it usually run? How many was the most it ever ran?

I cant say if they do it for X, but for SOB, if the line is outside the queue area (from the entrance sign back) then we cut it off there. Luckily, we havent had to do this anytime this year.
