If I go to magic mountain on a friday around 6:00 or 7:00pm can I get a discount on a regular admission price? And also, does magic mountain have a two-day pass becuase I couldn't find one on their website?

I think you get a discount by that time and I think you could buy a 2 day pass but I forgot because I have a season pass and I never look at the signs. I guess I am not a reliable source ;)

I believe Six Flags Magic Mountain does not offer a 2-day admission for purchase from the gate. You must buy a regular admission and then buy a Twicket that night.

IIRC, when you get your Twicket processed, they assess a "nominal fee". Don't know how much that was....*nominal* used to mean minimal....

I also have another question. I live in Portland, Or. and in July I can either go to silverwood or magic mountain. I haven't been to either and I'm leaning toward magic mountain even though I have read some mediocre trip reports becuase of ride closures. If anyone has any advice which park to go to it would be appreciated.

Go to Magic Mountain, the people that don't like it don't know how to have fun. It is my (close) second favorite park, first being Cedar Point.

Go to Magic Mountain but have a plan for the coasters. It is hard to hit them all in two days unless you plan.

Going there for 2 days you should have no problems. arrive at park opening on a weekday and leave when you get tired. try to go before 6 if you can. Buy a fastlane if you want, but i think it's a horrible setup and just plain old line jumping for money. fast pass at disney is such a better system and it takes anything with a library cards (it used to at least- ellisa used a knotts AP and it worked)
