PGA Question!

I noticed this member Constipated Tester has been saying things that make no sense like on this one: http://coasterbuzz.com/news/news.asp?NewsID=4052

Anyways, now that I've got that off my chest, does anyone know why Greased Lightnin' had all the peices of the launch system taken apart on June 9th? It was operating on the 8th, what went wrong?

It's most likely regular maintenance, since this ride will celebrate it's 25th anniversary (as Tidal Wave people! WOO HOO!) on Monday July 8th. Montezooma's just went through the same thing a few weeks back. If the model I'm doing for it is voo doo, then it won't be up for awhile! LOL. I'd rather be covered in grease than CA glue!

Lately there has been a nasty sound when the launch bogey is being put in place, the rebuild is standard maintanence and i am quite good to see it!

Greased Lightnin' has probably the worst launch of its kind now. They brake the launch before you go into the loop(which can be positive if you want more hangtime), and brake the luanch before you go back into the station so now only the back two cars even touch the back spike.
