More help with LA trip!

Okay, me, a friend, and my dad are driving the 6 and a 1/2 drive down to LA on June 24th. Once we arrive in LA, we are going to check into our hotel room, eat and then head right on over to SFMM. That first night at MM, we only have a few hours, like 5 to 10pm so I was wondering what rides we should hit that night??? We will be visiting MM again the next day for the entire day and I was thinking that maybe we should save all the big rides (X, Goliath, Deja Vu, etc) for that day or hit X when we first get there?? Please help!

I would hold off on waiting in line for X on the 24th, since there will already BE a giant line there. Hit whatever you want that night, except for X. Goliath at night is a great thing, make that your last ride of the night.

Get there at least 30 minutes before opening the next day and sprint to X. This advice all goes down the crapper if X is not running on weekdays, however. If X is closed, Deja Vu would be the thing to hit first on the 25th, slow dispatches can make a "not too bad" looking line turn into a "I can't believe how little we moved in the last 30 minutes" kind of line.

Nothing... NOTHING... can prepare you for... the Fourth Dimension!

In my opinion rollercoasters are more fun to ride at night than in the day, so try to hit the good ones at night (Goliath, Riddler, Deja Vu, Batman, Superman, X , and Viper) plus if you went on the big ones that night, you wouldn't have to worry to much about missing them the next day, and you want to get the most rides you can on those. Aslo Ninja and Revolution give pretty good night rides.
You won't get on X that night, I can almost gaurantee it. However, being a Monday night you do have a good shot on getting on several of the others. Lines shouldn't be to bad at that point. Ninja and Revolution are far better at night as they whip around the trees and mountain, but have very light lines normally, so they won't take much time for you.

Deja Vu is another one to catch either very early or right near closing if you can, just because of the waits. The others you shouldn't have any problems with, possibly even being able to hit them all on both days.

Have fun and enjoy. Hope that X is up and going for you!

Sometimes it's up. Sometimes it's down.
But with God, life is one thrill ride that you'll never regret being on.

Thanks for the advice guys! Its really helped me on trying to figure out which rides to go on and when! I guess the only thing I have to worry about now is hope X is running!!!
