Mine would first be accessible... off a major highway, no more than a 45 minute drive from a major city. It would be VERY family oriented, much like Holiday world. Lots of trees and shade and ice cream. Its a place where you can sit back and go "AHHHHH!!!!" There would be magic shows, and kids shows and special events. There will be free parking and free admission to senior citizens. 4th of July will be a big event...Lots of American Pride
Building coasters will be slow at first, to get that ROI, and as the park becomes larger, so do the rides. I would have a Shivering timbers like ride, and a CCI junior. Then adding an ARROW mine train, ARROW Mad Mouse, GCI Twister and working my way up to an ARROW looper. All major coasters would have a requirement of no more than 48". I wouldn't want to alienate my smaller guests. Perhaps one day I would build my ARROW hyper.
Most flat rides would be Eyerly or Chance rides, USA based Manufacturers to save money and get equal thrills. There would be good interactive rides.. great Bumper cars, a Wisdom Tornado and don't forget, a Rock-o-Plane!
there would be some water, so you can take a canoe out and there will be a nice large Wheel to get great views. Rides would be near each other, so the walk isn't bad. Food prices would be reasonable and Company picnics would be a heavy source of customers.
The water park would be great, especially in those hot midwest summers.
Outside the park I would build indoor attractions, restaurants, roller rinks, theaters. Some way to get a higher 4th and 1st quarter earnings increase. Plus, it would be more possible to have more full-time employees and allow them to receive better benefits.
Campgrounds and Hotels would be another option to buy into.
