Most trees in a Park?

SFOG has quite a bit of trees, so does Dollywood.

I agree with Kennywoodfan, Idlewild has the most trees out of all the parks I have been to. Apparently, no tree can be cut down in the park without the General Manager's approval.

Most: SFGAdv

Least: SFEG

NONE: Coney Island, Steel Pier, Gillian's Wonderland, Playland Castaway cove, Moreys, any peir park! and how about jeepers! lol Well they have those fake trees in pithon pit

Myrtle Beach Pavillion has very few trees but I would say that the Family Kingdom down the road has even fewer or less.

SFMM has a lot but I wouldnt say it has the most. Albeit that shady spot on the hill between Baja ridge and Samurai Summit is nice.

My vote for most would be Knobel's. The least would have to be the Adventuredome as it is inside and its landscape is limited to small plants and bushes

SFMM has some, but they are scattered in groups throughout the park, mostly on the summit. areas like gotham city and the backlot have few. the most i would say would be any busch park.

Castles' N' Coasters (phoenix) has the least by far, but i don't even consider it a park. AND I LIVE HERE.

Idlewild has the most. They not only have them everywhere in the park, they have them in the rides. Their Wild Mouse ought to be renamed the Wild Squirrel. The track skims along tree tops and winds around the foliage all the way. You have a hard time seeing the ride from the ground for the leaves. Their Rollo Coaster runs under, through, between and over a forest.



Kentucky Kingdom has the least : three. The front part has none. It's all pavement. In the summer KK averages 20 degrees hotter than the rest of Louisville. You can sit on the Ferris Wheel and watch the heat rise.

I'm amazed that nobody has said anything about Silver Dollar City. Out of the parks I have been to, Silver Dollar City has had the most tree coverage by far.

The park with the least is probably SFFT Again, I'm only talking about the parks I have been to.

Easy...

BGW with the most... it IS in Virginia after all... a state known for their foliage.

Lakemont has the least. Ever heard the "chopped down the wrong trees" story?

If I remember correctly Erieview Park has no trees whatsoever too.(I could be wrong I have not been ther in about 10 years or so.)

Of the parks I've been to, Great Adventure has the most. Shoot, the only coasters visible at the entrance is GASM and the first and second hills of Nitro. Least....Astroland at Coney Island...also the park with the most surrounding projects.

Astroland in new york doesnt have many, or the Myrtle beach pavilion, or family kingdom. After all they are built on city blocks.

The park I have been to with the most trees is most definately a tie between Six Flags St. Louis and Silver Dollar City. Both are beautiful parks.

The park I have been to with the least trees I would have to say would be SFWOA or Michigan's Adventure. There were not many shady spots in either park.

Since Cony Island is like in the middle of New York City surrounded by main roads on all sides of the park, wouldn't that have the least amount of trees??

Cedar Point is FARRRRR from the least. It's got a lot of trees, just look at their web cam. It obviously shows that it's quite dense.

I would say that The Great Escape actually has quite a few... it's surrounded by a woods, and was built into the woods originally. Every where you look, there are a ton of trees from weeping willows, to crimson king norway maples, to birch, to thornless honeysuckles...... they have quite a bit (although not the most, perhaps).

What's cool is to compare the tree coverage in pictures from the 70's with pics of today of the same park. Opryland had quite a bit when it closed, compared to what I remember and pics from the 70's.

Most per sq. foot- Holiday World

Least per sq. foot- Indiana Beach (what can I say, most of it's on a pier)

It ain't in the middle of NYC, its actually on the southernmost tip of Brooklyn next to a city park. where there are lost of trees

PKI has over 350 acres of undeveloped land

Let alone land with trees on it now.

I also believe they are going to maybe buy some more in the future and start expanding backwards over a certain period of time sometime soon.
