Intamin LSM Coasters

Will Intamin ever build a full-circuit coasters based on their Reverse Freefall concept?

It'll need a new train design. Wouldn't they be pissed off at seeing how S&S copied their track design for TA2K? Also will inversions appear on these coasters?

Can you imagine a 400ft+ tall Intamin Hypersonic XLC? ;-)

I agree, probably won't happen. Would be much too expensive. However I fully expect to see a 300ft, 100mph S&S by 2003. CP, are you listening?

How about the car on a standard Reverse Freefall being able to rotate? It would start to rotate when going up and be facing towards the ground at apogee and continue to normal position before hitting the curve or AFTER the curve before slowing down. Similar to half of a Vekoma Hammerhead Stall.

There was a rumor that a northern Six Flags park would get a 500ft, 125MPH RFF. Has anyone got info on this??

Is Volcano a LIM or LSM coaster? Are there any Intamin LIM/LSM sit down coasters?

The reverse-freefall coaster cars are designed for capacity on a short ride. They already have designed a full-circuit coaster. Volcano, The Blast Coaster!

I believe Volcano is a LIM coaster. That's the only acronym I've ever heard for it.

There is one Intamin LIM/LSM (not sure which one) I'm aware of and that is California Screamin' opening to the public Feb. 8, 2001. That thing is over 6,000 feet long, too! Anyone know the exact length? I wonder if it beats out MF for longest steel coaster in the country...

Ummm, I thought Steel Dragon had over 7500+ track??

Well MF is in the US, so thats our country, not Japan. So MF may have that record, but I have no idea.

Coasterr: Steel Dragon has over 8,100ft of track. Only problem is it's not in our country, a.k.a., the US. And unless California Screamin' is longer than 6,595 feet, Millennium Force at Cedar Point is, in fact, the longest steel roller coaster in the USA.

The Ultimate is in the U.K., not the U.S. As for California Screamin', I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it is 6800 feet long, which will indeed make it the longest steel coaster in the U.S.

Where are you people from? The United States would include the 50 States, Cuba, and Puerto Rico.

Yeah, the Ultimate was the longest coaster in the world before Steel Dragon at 7,500ft I think. Has anyone ridden it and what's it like? I heard the ride time is 7min because due to very long trains - 10 cars of 4, it takes ages to get up the two lift hills. And with such a long train, riding at the front is very different to the back. This coaster follows the terrain and looks like fun. Hey, it has twin rail track on wooden supports, would it be an Intamin?

Anyone know anything about the rumored 500ft 125mph RFF for a SF park in the future??

Is California Screamin' steel Intamin track on classic woodie supports?

Is there anyone who thinks Intamin sit-down looping coaster cars ugly? Except for MF, SROS which don't loop!

In spite of the ugly cars, Mayaka looks awesome! Its loop is huge! Roll on Atlantis 10 Inv. at Thorpe Park...
