I am planning my first trip to SFWOA for June 13. I have a few questions about the rides and the park. First off has X-Flight been reclining on the lift and running three trains? I thought I heard it was reclining on the lift but I wasn't for sure. Also I was reading that RWB is loosely based on the Riverview Bobs. So what were the changes? Also does anyone have an 2001 or 2002 park map online because I would like to see the layout of the park? Thanks in advance for everyones help.

X-F only has two trains on the track this year, blue has not yet been put back on. Reclining on the lift happens sometimes, other times it doesnt. It has a good crew this year, and capacity has improved over last year.
RWB is different, cant really explain it since I never rode the Riverview Bobs. RWB is not the best ride, but ride in the back and it is decent.
WoA is definately having its best year so far. Hopefully it will keep up for your trip in June.
As for a park map, maybe someone else can help you with that. The layout is a big circle that is not connected. Not sure if that makes sense.
Hope this helps
I have a 2002 park map on my site (click below).
Last I was at SFWoA, the trains were reclining on the lift of X Flight. I guess it depends on what day you go whether you'll recline in the station or on the lift.
RWB practically has the same layout as the Riverview Bobs but was very much designed for theme park audiences. Instead of the tight fan curves that were on the original Bobs, you'll find elongated turnarounds. The ride is bumpy, thanks in part to the PTC trailer trains, so be prepared for some shaking.
Otherwise, enjoy your visit.

Today (Sun. May 26th.) X-Flight was running two trains but was not reclining on the lift.
Raging Wolf bobs is more banked and instead of having a fan turn it has a flat turn around. I will have to disagree with Goose and say a front-middle ride is the best, as the back can be VERY rough. Expect it to be rough, but it is loads of fun.
Hit these coasters in this order...
1-X-Flight...RUN to it...lines can get to be very long...best seat IMO is back and most people will agree on this.
2-Mind Eraser...reg. boomer...pick what seat you like. Lines usually short all day long.
3-Superman Ultimate Escape...best seat IMO is second from the front, usually short line for that row and just as good as front. Short lines all day usually.
4-Big Dipper...Line can get to be pretty long, great coaster though and worth the wait. Best seat IMO is third car first row, or anywhere near the front.
5-Serial Thriller...new padding has greatly increased the quality of this ride. I noticed that the back is prob. the best seat...right side of the train...a little rough but now it's bearable. Usually has a longer line towards the beginning of the day so you may wanna skip this and go on...later in the day around 6 the line get's to be non-existant.
6-Villain...great ride...I reccomend front seat or front-middle of the train...less rough and great air. Usually a short line in the morning and get's longer around noon.
7-Batman Knight Flight...best ride is in the front. That's where you get the floor-less effect. The crew is very good this year and has two trains running very well...lines flucuates but is usually pretty short depending on attendance.
8-Raging Wolf Bobs...front middle of the train...usually a short to medium line all day...at night it usually has a very short line.
Hit Roadrunner Express if you have time and are up to it, it's pretty fun in the back and worth adding to you're coaster list. Double Loop may be open, and it may not. I am sure you'll be able to fit it in somewhere. You should get done with the coasters in about an hour or two...especially if you're there at opening.
I reccomend riding Villain, X-Flight, and Batman Knight Flight after it get's dark, the speed is intense and if you look towards the parking lot towards the rides side you can usually catch a beautiful rainbow sky everynight. Hope you enjoy you're trip, and you should be able to hit every coaster as much as you like.
