Is The Cedar Point Rumors True?

I was reading some old posts on another website and saw someone that works at Cedar Point talking about a new floorless coaster where Diaster Transport Stands with 225ft lift and 9 inversions, does this rumor stand at all? Or could this be another wild coaster freak thought? Can anyone put a little sense in this?

These types of rumors come up ALL the time, especially about Cedar Point, and usually, they are complete trash. A floorless is a good bet for the new attraction at CP in 2002, but that is too far off to worry about. No announcement will come until about 9 or 10 months from now. Until the announcement, you will hear online rumors that Cedar Point will get just about everything imaginable (I've even heard rumors for a launched inverted standup...now that would look funny). These floorless rumors have been around for awhile, and so have the rumors that CP is getting rid of Disaster Transport (which I personally think will never happen - CP has to keep the coaster count as high as possible). Also, everybody and their brother gets on these forums and says "I heard a CP employee saying..." or "My uncle's sister-in-law's best friend's college roomate works at Cedar Point, and SHE says..." Most of the time when you hear this, it means the rumor has zero truth to it.

Many of the ride operators just say things like that to mess with the public. I probally would if I were asked too(but that usually happens when your a ride operator, not a dishwasher :)).
P.S.~Shouldn't it be "Are" the Cedar Point rumors true? or Is the Cedar Point "Rumor" true?

My favorite CP (utterly false) rumor:
"Magnum is sinking and will be sold to the highest bidder, even if the highest bidder is less than one million dollars. I have proof, look at the "clearance" sign, it used to say..." I think you all know the rest. How long has that one been kicking around?
Don't forget, my sister's former college roommate's, uncle's, neighbor's, sister's, dry cleaner's, son worked at CP for 2 weeks, so you know the source is credible.
