Xcelerator trains ON!

THATS RIGHT!!!! Me and Mr. X went to Knotts today, and 3 of the five cars (purple) were on track! And guess what kind of restraints? JUST A T-BAR, and a HUGE headrest
I sure hope you aren't making this up because I don't see any pics of them on Westcoaster's latest update. But if you're telling the truth that is a huge relief. I was going to be a little ticked if a sitdown coaster with no inversions got OTSRS...

Westcoasters was from 5/10/02, i went today 5/11/02, and they have 3 of the 5 cars on, and it was the purplae one (for some reson its got yellow on it) and green seats, and a yellow (i believe) t-bar, and I didn't see any seatbelt. I saw this going on the yellow supreme scream (9-12)
O! and also they were testing the whole launch fins (they just went up and down)

I saw them testing the lauch fins. Maybe I am just easily entertained, but it was so cool! ;)

The fins are attached to these pistons in the middle of the box track, and they rise and fall about a foot.

It was good. I was there today, but was unable to see the transfer track from my vantage point. Boy did I miss out...

0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

the trains, well 3/5 cars, are on. however, i doubt it doesn't have a seatbelt. all of knotts roller coasters and many of their rides have seatbelts. if there aren't seatbelts, capacity could be doubled from what knotts would do with seatbelts (dumb guests, ride ops. constantly saying "pull on your seatbelt please"). i say knotts should use the bommerang crew since they work hard on getting the train out of the station in under 35 seconds. one of the employees almost closed it on me as i was stepping in to get the train out ASAP.

The seatbelts are mostly a Cedar Fair thing. Almost everything at CP outside of the train and Space Spiral has them.

SFA's superman has seatbelts.

So does SFNE

Why would you expect anything less from Intamin, other than just regular lap restraints??

Just because it's Knotts and the little "accident" with their Perlious Plunge (coincidentally by the same company)??

I would have bet the farm that it'd be the same restraint system used on Superman & Millennium Force, because it is a hyper coaster, and it's not needed! Screw the extra safety percautions... that is what seat-belts are for!!

............and yeah, ever since the fat guy fell out of Darien Lake's Superman: Ride of Steel... they installed seat belts on all Intamin hypers.
