On-ride Photos

Do you collect them? How many do you have?

Are roller coasters my life? NO, but I certainly like them!

WAY too many. I get one from almost every coaster I ride that has a photo.

Oh good lord, I just checked.... (I've scanned most of them) and there are on ride photos from over 80 different coasters. Maybe I should cut back!

I have over 100

i dont have any! personally, if i want an on-ride, ill take my dig cam, stick it in front of my face and take a pic(prob wont look good, but oh well). if its a ride that blew me away, i just might get it. but so far, ill just keep my 10$. drinks are already 2.50

I have a few... MF, Lightning Racer, Mean Streak, Mantis, and the Villain. I definitely want to get one from Xcelerator, X, and Goliath this summer at CoasterCon.

I would have a lot but like coasterdude04 mentioned, they are so expensive. I have a few like from my first ride on the beast, MF, SOB(waited around 9 hours, first in line, had to get the pic). Other than the real big coasters for the first times thats it. I mean unless I know I will never ride it again I don't see a point when I could go and ride it instead of using a pic to remember my ride

I've only got a few, but my absolute favorite by far is the on-ride photo to my very first looping coaster ride.. Raptor, June 1996. I have my eyes closed and everything. :)

Jess, first looping coaster would be a good post. I remember mine which was the Laser at Dorney

I subject dear to my heart. We not only collect but we a section of our website dedicated to them. PCW as of last year had B&W cameras on some of their rides. This year all B&W cameras are gone. There are new colour cameras on Ghoster Coaster & Top Gun.

I dont purchase on ride photos because most of the time I ride coasters alone (my wife hates coasters) and I dont know the person or people seated next to me.

I have a few my favorite is from my tenth grade band trip. The Rock and Roller Coaster. There is one of my friends who has his mouth open and screaming. Another with an ultimate look of terror on his face and then me with the best look of excitement. But my favorite is a girl in front of me who two minutes before told me she was going to beat me up and then the photo has her white knuckled and eyes closed. I thought have about four on ride, Batman Knight Flight, Serial Thriller, Top Gun. All really great looks!

Ride On!

I have about 30 of them. I keep them in my cubicle at work and make color copies of them to also put in my scrapbooks I keep of my park trips. That way I can (kinda) justify the inflated cost of on ride pics!

I have only two...one from Splash Mountain and one from SOB. And no, it wasn't a "Flash Mountain" pic :)

i have a Manhattan Express, Speed: The Ride, High Roller, Thrill Shot, Splash Mountain @ DL, Goliath, X, and Viper...so 8. My X on-ride photo was from 2001 season pass holder pre-view, so that ones special to me. How many people can say they have one with 2001 on the picture??
