I found WT to be a very intense ride. Given that the way the intensity is taken in a different stride than MF, I find it difficult to compare the two rides because they are just that.....two different rides.
I got in over 30 rides on WT last Thursday. By 2:30PM, I was really feeling odd.I think a combination of the rear sprial and the fast braking play with my head. After about 15 rides, the very start of the climb into the rear spike was really messing with me and was near impossible to ride without letting out a "AAAAAAAAARRRRGGGG!"
I could start a whole new thread on what people call intense but I think it could quickly evolve into a flame war because everyone has different views on what intense is. I remember someone trying to start a argument with me at Michigan's Adventure the year Shivering Timbers opened. As we were sitting in the brake run at the end of the ride, I made the comment that I found the coaster to be very intense.
The person sitting behind me commented that if I found that ride to be intense, then I don't know very much about coasters. I tried to ignore him but as we were walking down the exit ramp, he kind of mocked what I said and shook his head. Why some people just won't accept another persons view without being an @$$ baffles me at times.
Anyway, there is no doubt that some will love WT, and some won't. There is always going to be that whole 'the holding brake makes the ride' argument or something similar. What I think everyone needs to remember is a ride is there for us to have fun. Bottom line.

Thought I might clarify my statement about WT's intensity.
Sean can testify to my nervousness the first time I rode WT Thursday. I guess it was about 5:30am when I first hopped aboard. I was nervous, because aside from the PKI coasters (of which I have done hundreds of times) and a couple of kiddie coasters, this was the first "new" major coaster I have done this season. I typically get nervous whenever I ride any new attraction.
I guess I was a bit out of practice, but the beauty of a new coaster is the first time aboard manages to give me a thrill. Typically, the first ride on any attraction is the best and most memorable for me.
As I said in other posts, although I truly enjoy S:UE, the one drawback I found was the holding brake. It is fun, and intense, but I find falling into restraints uncomfortable. I much prefer WT's twist.
If I were to need to pick, WT is easily the better of the two IMO. And as I said earlier, it fills a void at CP. They have a great ride and the public will eat it up.
Several of you are correct that comparing MForce and WT is like comparing apples and oranges. But oddly enough, when it comes to lasting intensity, MForce still delivers. Let me explain....
After my initial ride on WT, the nerves were gone. After that ride, I found it to be a very fun, fast, pleasurable coaster. It was oddly familiar, but with a new "twist." Each time I rode, I found myself looking forward to the backwards twist. The rest of the ride (launch, front twist) was exciting and fun, but not the draw for me. I was very used to that sensation, and although I love it, I found myself riding over and over just for the thrill of the back spike.
By the end of my time at the media preview I was busy developing new "thrill" techniques to enhance the sensation (looking sideways, looking though my legs, letting body go limp etc.) that signifies to me that I was very comfortable on the ride and felt very safe. That's a good thing.
But when deciding it's intensity, naturally one looks to compare it to other rides. At least that is how I mainly judge my feelings about a ride. What I found with WT was, I was having an extremely enjoyable fun time, but after a couple rides the intensity was loosing steam. Compare that to MForce across the park that still manages to scare/thrill me each time I climb the lift and descend the first drop. I have been on it dozens of times, and still get the same feeling of apprehension each time I board. That overshadows the apprehension I got just the first two or three times I rode WT.
Again, CP really knows what they need, and installs wonderful rides. WT is definitely a coaster I look forward to riding again. But my main interest is the unique feature, the backwards twist, which I find enthralling, not extremely intense.
Finally, I would like to say that the people at CP are wonderful. I had a blast at the event and cannot wait to get back to the park on a normal operating day. I wish them a banner season and hope WT draws in the crowds and cash they desire.

On topic, I want to get down to SFWoA this year and ride S:UF so I can compare. Sunday was my first Impulse experience.

I guess I am maybe confusing intensity here.
WT does give you a complete sensory overload like nothing else at CP. The experience is extrmely intense mentally but maybe not physically.
I will say, and Kneemeister can vouch for this, that I was wore out for about 10 minutes after getting off of WT in the back seat. I was speechless and that never happens. It wasn't beacuse the ride was so phyiscal but because it so mentally whipped you.
Kneemeister said the back spike makes you want to curl up into a little ball as you dive to the ground and I think that is the perfect thing to say in this case. Raptor is intense physically but watching that tower bend while you are on it and going down that drain pipe are intense as hell mentally.

The Beast and Night, They go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly
WT is my first impulse coaster, so I can't compare it to any others, but it was a very intense ride for me. My son's words "only the Power Tower drop makes my heart beat as fast as Wicked Twiters does!"
I still rank MF over WT, but WT is definitely an awesome ride, especially from the back. Seeing the twist going up and down that back spike definitely makes the ride.
