Holy crap, back seat of that thing is so intense its not even funny. I was truly blown away and speechless, bar none one of the most intense coasters i have ever rode and probably the most intense. I have yet to ride V2 or S:UE but I have to say there is no way the holding brake can be as intense as this at all. The coaster has it all rolled into one.
Laterals, Positive G's, and Negative G's, Just too awesome.

Yeah, tell us you flew in from California for opening day!
We made several more believers yesterday. I suppose that since most of us had the mindset that it was "just" an Impulse, our expectations weren't that high. Imagine our surprise when our expectations were blown away!

Just as soon as you've been pinned you get yanked around big time. That's the sensation that I think we're all so damn excited about.

I rode WT 14 times on media day.
4 times were in the very rear seat. Five other times near the rear, and 5 times in the front/middle. I never rode very front seat, but did get up to the second row.
Again, I much prefer the rear, but personally do not find it quite as intense as, say, MForce's First Drop.

Good enough answer for me Shaggy. I just thought 200 feet twisting down was better then 300 feet at 80 degrees to me.
Too compare WT to MF is really apples and oranges. I don't really find MF intense the way I found WT to be. The closest ride in intensity at CP would have to be Raptor in the back seat. So many positive G's on that thing.
Anyway CP now has 4 world class coasters and 3 over 200 feet. One is bound to be your cup of tea.

Kicks your butt might be an understatement. The back is hands down the most intense for me. Spiraling backwards up that spike is incredible and hanging there for a second and checking out everything below is quite a view.
As far as visual euphoria, I'd go with the front seat every time. The second time traveling through the forward spike is incredible; spiraling towards the clouds is something you don't get to see too often. Dropping off the backward spiral coming back into the station is quite a trip as well, plummeting towards the ground then you get whipped horizontal and whizzed through the station past a blur of onlookers. Very nice. Definitely mark one up for CP with this one.

If only I could legally drive from Mich to CP at MF's top speed. I could shave 42 minutes off my drive time.
