Coaster Trip

On the week of June 9, I am going to take a coaster trip with my friends. I have been mapping out a trip, and we are either going to go to Cedar Point or to some parks in PA. The parks in PA we are gonna go to are Knoebels, Dorney Park, and Hershey Park. One of my friends went to Hershey Park three years ago but some good stuff has come there since. Neither I nor anyone else have been to the other parks. My friends aren't really coaster fanatics like me so I don't think that they will appreciate the Knoebels coasters but rather like the huge coasters at Cedar Point. I have told them that as single parks, Cedar Point is the best but that together the three in PA are better. Is that a valid statement? I think for me it is but for the group is it? Also, whose water park is better?(Cedar Point's or Dorney's)Thanks a lot!

I think they would like Knoebels. They have awsome rides besides the woodies. The Flyers are insane anand so are the bumper cars. The Haunted Mansion is another great ride there. The bumper cars are among the best as well. The carousel you can still catch rings which is pretty rare nowadays. The also have a good selection of other flat rides such as, Power Surge, Log Flume, swing ship, Antique cars, 2 different train rides, paratroopers, tilt a whirl, a classic whip, italian trapeeze, and a few other flats. Add the Phoenix, Twister. Whirlwind, and (the not so kiddie) High Speed Thrill Coaster and you have a great line up of rides. They also have a wide variety of excellent food at a reasonable price.

If you get bored with the park you could always visit the pool. they are replacing two of the waterslides at the moment and have two others. Don't expect a waterpark compareable to CP or Dorney, just enough for an hour or two of fun unless you like swimming. The pool is an extra charge but it's a reasonable price.

I think everyone would be happy for a day at Knoebels. Plus the lines at Knoebels are alot shorter than the other three parks which means more rides durring the day.
