Very cool and interesting, can't wait for the next in the series. I had no idea Hall had such big plans, too bad Phase 2 and 3 never materialized, that football stadium sounded awesome! I'm glad this also cleared up when Carowinds actually opened for me. Still makes me wonder why they claim this year is their 30th Anniversary though..
And for anyone who's wondering, Ken Rutherford's excellent site can be found here.
As for Paramount's part, I thank them personally, I haven't been there in a few years but the place WAS NOT competing for our return trips like SFoG was. It was always worth driving the extra hour(for us at the time) to ATL. I wouldn't go as far as saying they've "saved" Carowinds, but they HAVE done something pretty near close to it. I'm not into "corporate stereotyping" so I especially have nothing against Paramount. When Paramount sneeks into my house & makes off with my wife during the night, then I'll hold against them, otherwise, corporation smorporation, who cares;). Corporations have MONEY & will build RIDES that cost MONEY. For that, I shall take advantage of these horrible companies, they've been making life fun for many years.
BTW, Starcoasters, thanks for the CCE. Even though it's small & the activity is slow now, I hope it becomes something more in the future.
