Holy Cow, what can I say the new brakes make this ride better then ever and get this AIR!!! YOU GET AIR!!! Not much but pretty dang good for a lateral machine. Last ride of the night last night after dark and i swear I saw god in the second tunnel, It was a heavenly experience, once again affirming the beast is the greatest coaster ever made. My Number one once Again.

Oh Heck yeah and this was after 9 rides in a row on Sonny which just keeps getting better, I ride in the second seat everytime and the ride is great in that seat. That was during Gold Pass ERT. At 8:30 I ran over to Papa and got on at 9:05 and whoa baby the Beast in the dark is like nothing else, you come flying out of the second tunnel into pitch darkness and it is the most amazing experience in coasterdom. Unbelievable, that was last night and I am still pumped.

Was He black? If He wasn't, probably wasn't really God.

Riding the Beast at night gave me chills. Not because it was cold, but because it is such a greta ride.

no, Joe's right. God looks strikingly similar to Alanis. not to mention there's a 13th apostle who was a loud-mouthed black guy who looked and sounded a heck of a lot like Chris Rock!

Idora: perhaps Mary was a virgin by the fact that she didn't let any strudel come near her pie. whether or not you believe that it up to you.

Magnum Force, I did like the exact same thing you did on saturday. I rode SOB goldpass rides until 8:45 than I headed over to The Beast. I was like 4th to last ride. I do have to say it is still the best wooden coaster in my opinion, especially at night. I did like the sled brakes much better but i'll live with it. It was cool with no brakes on the first hill but the trims on the top of second are so powerful that it throws you forward in your seat. Then the mid course brake area is better because you fly through the whole thing extremely fast and get slowed at the very end. After the long tunnel we were really flying. After the second lift there are some trims in the middle of the hill into the helix but once they let go you get like a speed boast and it's all great from there.

Also, did you ride TR:TR, they had like all the lights on in the ride area when I rode. Normally they have a few lights on the car but they had enough to light the whole place and see all the theming before the ride started. Still a good ride but they need to keep the lighting off so you can't tell until the ride starts. When our ride was done it broke and we were stuck in the seats for around 10 min. The car kept swinging very lightly like it needed to be re positioned. The walkways hadn't came down yet either. Anyone know why they have more lights on?

Yes I rode TR, that was the ACE walkback of the day so we were the first on it. I didn't notice anymore lights on then there were the first time I rode it. But I did notice how much the ride chaned, there we quite a few more intense moments. But the eyes on the statue didn't follow you and the ending still leaves a lot to be desired. But I thought it was better then it was the last time. But they need to add a little extra craziness to the end after you think it's stopped.
