----------------- V2 can't be compared to any of the rides in SFGAm!The Vertical Drop was amazing!
The closest ones I'm aware of, which are both Metra, would be:
A) Libertyville
B) Great Lakes (Naval Base)

Yeah thats Metra. Nearest Amtrak is in Glenview. Busses should get you to the park from there.
----------------- Your village called. They're missing their idiot.
Take Metra to Grayslake then you can take a bus to the park, which is 10 miles away.
----------------- Beer, my soon to be wife, coasters, and the FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Is this a great country or what!!

Mmmmm....trains.....I miss traveling by rail. Funny how so many parks have outlived the rail companies they were started by. ------------- Brad Sherman Don't.....look.....back! The Headless Horseman awaits you in 2002! Model coasters and rides
There is a really wonderful train station in Hometown Square and another in County Fair :)

The closest Metra rail line from SFGAm is the Waukegan station. Its actually closer then Great Lakes and a bus takes you directly west to the park.
