I'm glad that you liked this coaster, but I went to BGW last year and thought it was a waste of my time and energy.

A waste of your time?! Why? Just because it is not the biggest and fastest? I agree it is not the best(the helix is kinda a waste, but it is still cool. Parks do have to appeal to a variety or riders. When I am old my kids will probably think Millenium Force will be kids stuff.

As Andrew mentioned, Worlds of Fun in Kansas City has an Arrow coaster with interlocking loops. It's called Orient Express. I think it was built the year after Loch Ness Monster.

And for other inerlocking inversions a handful of B+M's have interlocking corkscrews like, Kumba, Medusa. Batman's Knight Flight and Dragon Kahn.

Craig, I don't especially like the older steel coasters. Vortex @ PKI, Big Bad Wolf and Loch Ness
Monster @ BGW, and Shockwave @ SFGA. The older technology seems to be more rough to me. You're right about the parks having to appeal to a lot of different riders though :)

I have recently been on an Arrow looper rush. I am just crazy about these types of coasters. I don't why. Maybe I am fascinated about the fact that these spawned a lot of todays crazy inversions. I think a lot of designers should pay homage to Arrow.

SFGA had Lighten' Loops. This was the very first looping coaster I ever went on. Pretty short ride but going backwards through the loop felt pretty intense. I was never on it when they had both loops running, I think that would have been pretty interesting to watch - both on and off the coaster.

I rode Ole Nessie this past weekend and thought it was awsome for being over 20 years old. I thought it was a rough as Alpengeist. Sure parts might knock you around but overall it was great.

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City has Interlocking loops, especially made for the park. The coaster just celebrated it's 20th anniversary at the park on April 4. It is a great ride. This past summer in July, it experienced a derailment just before entering the station. There where some injuries, and some girls had to hang upsidedown for 4 hours while firemen got them out. The ride was closed for the rest of the season. The park opened up today, and so did the coaster!!

A coaster in Japan, Moonsault Scramble, has a boomerang/batwing with entering and exiting corkscrews that interlock. =) It really looks cool.

It really helps when you use the word to define the same word...I know what interlocking means and I know what a loop is but I was thinking of something more on the lines of some examples, pictures, or anything to help me visualize what these interlocking loops might look like.

Nessie is not rough. I think it is smooth compared to Anaconda. I only wish that BGW installed a computer controlled timing system like on dueling dragons to ensure that the trains will always inter the loops at the same time.
