Does anyone know where I could find a blueprint or layout of the POTC ride. I have always wanted to see a blueprint of what it looks like internal!

Thanks,

as cool as that would be to check out, i HIGHLY doubt that Disney is in the habit of making blueprints of their rides available for public consumption... however, i could be wrong, if so, i wouldn't mind seeing it either.

I dont know about the POTC (love the ride though), but if you go to www.hauntedmansion.com , it has a blueprint/layout of the haunted mansion as well as a lot of really interesting history & secrets behind the effects.

For details about the ride system and development thereof, consult the book, Roller Coasters, Flumes and Flying Saucers by Robert Reynolds. Some interesting details in there about development of the POTC system, and some interesting information on how POTC differs from Small World. You can easily see how POTC turned into the log flume!

Hope you find it, but, just a note here, each of the PotC attractions has a unique layout.

www.themeparkadventure.com had a huge magazine devoted to that ride. If the issue doesn't mention it, I'm sure that the authot could poiint you to a source.
