Looking for movie of Bat in Action

I am looking for any kind of movie (hopefully mpeg, avi, mov,...) of the Bat at PKI. Does anyone have a clip of this great coaster in action or know where to find one?

I don't have a clip, but I know where you can get one. You can try alexsplace.com or , if you have yahoo search, type in what you want.

Does such a clip exist? Camcorders weren't exactly a household item back in 1983-85.

Well, If you had a camcorder, and wanted to shoot the Bat in action in 1985 or even '84, you were out of luck. The Bat ran from 1981- 1983, was SBNO in 1984, and was dismantled in 1985-86

I have been doing searches but not coming up with videos. There are good photos out there but I was hoping for a video. Does anyone know if it was ever on any show (i.e. Discovery or TLC)?

There may not have been cam-corders in 1980, but there was (drumroll please) SUPER 8!!! That's right folks, 8mm "home movie" cameras were alive and kicking back then. Maybe someone somewhere has a Super 8 movie of The Bat.

My dad had a Super 8 camera, and in fact, we just dug it out and it still works! That's craftmanship. No movies of The Bat, sadly.
