There used to be a great site on the history, but the webmaster took it down. I am slowly in the process of working with him to incorporate it into gadv.com. So far I have history from 1992 on. I hope to incorporate every year in a complete history timeline. GAdv.com also has a few park maps/guides but only dating back to 1996. I am also working on that. Check out the history at
