do you think we will ever see a pipeline coaster

i was reading on this site that after the first pipeline concept for alton towers got terminated they came up with one that would be able to work but they droped it when the b&m inverter appeard in 1992 and they built nemesis .Do u think that the pipeline concept will ever be worked on again

Actually I'm pretty sure Intamin has built one in a mall. I've seen the pics of it, but I have no idea of any of the stats or the name.

Look at Collosus. We can now do with regular track and trains what the pipeline did with expensive track and trains. I really don't see the Arrow Pipeline ever coming to fruitition as its sytem is now redundant.

I agree. I don't ever think we'll see it. It seems oudated now with all the different breeds of coasters that came out in the 90's.

Having ridden the Ultra Twister in Japan and Collosus last friday - we have the technology! wow :)

Those are heartline twisters but they do put the gs in the middle of your body.

So its the same thing but those(what Laurence and coasterman showed)are just the same concept but cheaper right?

The Arrow pipeline had the rails on the sides of the car, so yes, it's very different than Togo's version, but much the same as Ultra Twister. Just imagine UT with the top half of the tube cut off.

And no, we'll never see one. There's concepts out there already that blow the pipeline out of the water.

Can someone explain exactly what the pipeline coaster is like? I only got in to coasters last year!
