Hypersonic: XLC to open in about a month!

Ok, well today was my first day at the park, and I know a higher up official, and he happened to be holding the door of the season pass center.. go figure. Well I talked to him for a few minutes, and come to find out, they're adjusting trains on XLC, and he said it will be open in the next month most likely, and if not that, before the park is open daily. That's great news!

I thought they were redoing the top of the hill.

Ya, I thought they were going to change the hill and make like the hill on Donda

Do you know if it will be for Spring Break week?

yeah, I think we all kinda suckered on that one, the re-do of the hill...I know I did! My friend Steve told me Weds. that it was more along the lines of trying to "even out" the speeds so that there would be less of a chance of rollback, and that the ride would open soon. How he finds that stuff out is beyond me?!?! But S&S can certainly catch a break (pardon the expression) right about now...

We weren't all suckered in to it. Stan told all of us who went to WCS3 that they are re-doing the top of the hill due to the forces, though they aren't uncomfortable to riders it is tearing apart the ride.

Will it be open for Spring Break Week??

Well, SFgadvMAN, if you check out the originally message it says that Hypersonic may be open in the next month or so. So that means we should see it up and running at end of April or early May at the earliest, or by the time Kings Dominion is open all 7 days per week.

He said in about a month, so probably around the end of April, beginning of May. I know they aren't changing anything on the hill, because then they'd have to mess up the brand new landscaping all around the hill, so like I said, it's just trains and timing/computers and that kind of stuff. It won't be open for Spring Break, I am almost positive.

Which official was that? Scooby Doo? I will believe it when I see it. I personally dont believe it because I can't see them taking Hypersonic off for the first month because of train ajustment. I think it is the hill thing. But what do I know?
