Crazy hyper inverted Vekoma photos

My god this ride looks amazing.

this thing is huge. I would say that this has to be the first hyper inverted, that first drop while twisting 90 degrees looks pretty close to vertical. Wow.

Apparently it is going to be very smooth as well due to some technology advances (i'' let you read about them) 25 million pounds is a lot of bloody money but hey i am not complaining. I can't wait to ride this beast in the summer when i go over there.

Europe is certainly getting some great coasters this year. Bring em on.

Is it really 200+ft tall? I'm having a hard time judging from the photos. That loop will pull huge G's, see how much unsupported track there is at the top!

4 across seating? Sounds like V-seated trains to me. They'd better use sprung wheels! ;)

I know that it is supposed to be smooth, but with the reputation of Vekoma rides, I am not sure what the reviews will be like.

You said it Gyjdnb! Europe is getting some truly spectacular rides this year, not to mention rides recently built, such as Expedition G Force and Superman:The Ride. What with Goliath, Air, Collosus, and now Odyssey, Euruopeans certainly don't have anything to complain about when it comes to coasters!

Belive it or not but 2003 will be even a better year for Europe :) At least for me :-P

100mph! Did I read that right? Are advertising standards different in Europe, or will this thing really go 100mph?!?!?!

If its 235 feet tall how do they get it to go 100 mph? I think it will more like be around 80-85 mph.

I think its supposed to be 100kmh which is about 65mph that makes more sense(sp?) Except Im not sure on the height cause if its 235 it should go faster than Deja Vu which is only 196. Hmmm theres my 2 cents

coaster_freak00 is right. It's just a type-o. The person who wrote that either meant to say or mistakenly belives it's MPH, not KPH. Oh, and B&M ROCKS, even with the heaviest train in the world, it will only go so fast, in fact as fast as if you could put a wheel assembly on your computer and send it down the track. Newton said so, so it must be true! ;)

This has be gone over before. Obviously, some of the stats given for this coaster make no sense. And these same stats appear at the park's official web site. Some of the English parks are known for cooking their numbers. They do things like measure the height of a coaster from sea level rather than from the ground that the coaster is located on. And 100 MPH would require a drop of roughly 350 feet.

The ride's lift is over 220 FT and the vertical loop following the first drop is, get this - 200 FT even. That makes it the world's largest AND tallest.

You can tell that it is bloody tall when comparing it to the sit down coaster in the photos (the one with yellow supports).

Talk about having a huge coaster in your back yard. Check out the trailer park right in front of this gigantic ride. I mean, you walk out your back door and "BAM" , its right there in front of you.

Chitown, this pic here will make you laugh even more. FI is in the middle of a huge trailer park! It sure puts CP to shame. ;)

MF doesnt even go 100, and its almost 100 feet taller.Im just not understanding some of these physics.
