what kind of inversion is this?

You are correct, it is a Dive loop

Dive loop. The train curves going into the loop, comes out of the loop straight.

I thought the first inversion on Mantis was a dive loop, and this appears to be the opposite of that.

Nope, they're the same. The Chang picture is a little confusing because its hard to tell which way the train is going.
