PGA's Triple Wheel

Is PGA's Triple Wheel still at the park in a graveyard or in a warehouse or sopmething? Any pictures of it? From what I hear, SFGAM's is on it's way out.

Thanks,
Joe

No, It was taken out a few years ago, in its place stands Invertigo.
PGA's triple wheel got removed after the 1997 season, and Invertigo replaced it, SFGAm's triple wheel (Sky Whirl) got removed after the 2000 season, and Deja Vu replaced it

I apologize, I should have worded that better. What I meant by that was is it at the park in a graveyard? Is it in a warehouse? Does anyone have any pics of it being taken down or where it rests now?

Thanks again,

Joe.

Well there was removal pictures of skywhirl at http://sfga_il.tripod.com/SkyWhirlRemoval.htm , and it was still there when Deja Vu parts came in (in the employee parking lot, that is their graveyerd ), but i am not sure about it now, it is sad, because they repainted the motor covers for the 25th anniversary, and it seems like if they were going to remove it, why go to the trouble. On one site, one of the 2 was for sale for a half millon dollars, but i dont know which one. I have never been to PGA, so i couldn't tell you what is up w/ theirs.

Speaking of Intamin wheels, i was just at the Hersheypark site, and they said that if you turned a wheel in the middle of the car on Giant Wheel, you could spin? is this true?, because hanging from a chain, doing a tea cup thing isn't exactly relaxing, or appear safe (it probably is), and how does the future look for this good ol' classic?

Yes it is true about spinning the cabins on Giant Wheel by spinning the wheel in the middle. definately not something you wanna do if you can't handle that sort of thing.
