Does anyone know if Six Flags America is getting a new coaster next year? I read on Thrillseekers.com that they are getting a B&M stand-up coaster in 2001. I plan on going there next year to ride Superman: Ride of Steel hypercoaster and I just wanted to know if this is true about SFA getting a new coaster. Thanks. --------------
When are you going to Six Flags? Also, the standup is still not confirmed untill the plans are presented to the county council for hearings.

Right now I don't know when. I have a friend that lives in D.C. and he invited me to see him. He suggested going to PKD, BGW, SFA, and touring D.C. I e-mailed him twice and didn't get an answer yet. I'm still waiting. I'm hoping I go either on June or July, but I can't decide which is a good time to go to the parks. ------------
Can you take me higher? (CREED)

OK. I thought that you would be coming out in the next two weeks. Look forward to hooking up with you next year. ------------- Where would we be without the rumor mill?

Well the stand-up is probably the strongest rumor for SFA right now, except for the waterpark.
Just for my 2 cents, I would much rather have a stand-up then a floorless or whatever the heck the other rumors flying around are.
now thry're calling for a flying dutchman.
SFA needs a Stand-Up and a BETTER inverted and they'll be a pretty good park. But Mind Eraser and Joker's Jinx just ain't cuttin' it right now.
They already have tow inverteds, what they need is more none-wooden, none-inversion coasters, like suspended, bobled, wild mouse, mining, indoor, and stff like that.
none wooden, non inversion? why not a wooden looper?
