International Theme Park Services

Exactly what is this company? I ask because in a recent newspaper article Larry Langford, chairman of VisionLand, said ITPS is trying to sell the park and may replace Alfa Smart Parks as park managers.

International Theme Park Services (ITPS) is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is a company that runs, and designes amusement parks. They also, I believe, are a consulting firm for the amusement industry. The president of ITPS is Dennis Spiegel, who helped Taft build Kings Island and Kings Dominion. Also, more recently, his firm halped plan Newport Aquarium on the banks of the Ohio River, across the river from downtown Cincinnati. I hope I helped.

It was in the Birmingham News. I already submitted it as a news item because the article was mainly about the city of Birmingham stopping their $1 million a year payments to the park.
