What is that park on step by step intro song with cast of charactors? Anyone know which park they shot that at?

Magic Mountain, to my knowledge.

It is SFMM - they just super-imposed a lake by Colossus so it looks like it's on a beach.

yea, i noticed the lake, and thought it was cedar point but they dont have a dueling woodie. Why didnt they show them dueling in the intro. it would of looked a lot better.

As others said, it is Magic Mountain. However, not all of it was filmed there. Certain parts like the kid loosing his ice cream, the dude shooting an arow through the bear etc were filmed on a sound stage.

Even the clip of the family climbing the lift of Colossus and waving was super-imposed (sp??). That close-up is not a real Colossus train, and they are not riding it.

As others stated, "breakers" or an oceanfront is super-imposed next to Colossus when it shown via an arial shot. The reason? There is a big ugly parking lot next to Colossus and the Producers of the show wanted to "pretty" it up. They did a poor job, the edit looks terrible.
