Question About HERCULES ?????

I was just wondering, did Hercules ever have 3 trains. Cuz like 2 years ago, the trains were numbered 2&3. But this past season, they were numbered 1&2. Did the get rid of one when they had that accident a couple years after it opened?
I am just curious, so if anyone knows please reply! Thanx!

I believe I remember seing three trains many years ago. that was pre Steel Force though possibly before Cedar Fair took over too. Two sitting in the transfer area behind the station. I heard some parks keep a spare train for if one breaks. Maybe the third train is a spare now.

When was the last time they actually needed 3 trains on Hercules?

I think that 3rd train has entered "parts heaven".

i think they did a year ago, although i heard hercules would close this season because the government classifies it as "cruel and unusual punishment"
