Most corporate parks season passes will be good at all of their parks.  This includes Paramount, Cedar Fair and Six Flags.  However, Water parks may not be included.  Paramount Parks include their water parks free with admission/season passes.  However, I know that at Cedar Point, Soak City is not free with general admission to the park.  (I don`t know if its free with a season pass or not as I`ve never been a season pass for a park other than Paramount`s Kings Island.)

Cedar fair season passes do not cover their water parks. However, they do offer a "Combo pass" which includes both types of parks

Six Flags also treats their waterparks seperatley, but offers a Combo pass as well.

Also, Knotts is open year round. A pass purchased AT Knotts is good for the calendar year (jan 1- Dec 31) regardless of when it was purchased. Passes purchased at "seasonal" parks are valid May1-April30. Thus, my 2001 Cedar Point pass gets me into Knotts through April. Woohoo!

Do you have to process Cedar Fair or Paramount Passes like you have to process Six Flags?

Yes & NO.

If you ALREADY have a Cedar Point pass, you can RENEW it by mail. They will mail you your new pass using the prior year's photo that they have on file. If youdo not yet have a Cedar Point pass, then you will have to go to Cedar Point (or whichever CF park) and have it processed there.

Six Flags does not (yet) offer a pass via mail option. You MUST goto the park from where you are purchasing to have it processed.
