Take a look at the container with the number 9 on it: http://www.americacoasters.com/KBFConstruction/feb4/xcellaunch1.jpg

Is that part of the hydrolic launching system or is that a crate that is storing items. Because if its part of the system, i think they should have that replaced or at least repaired and checked over. I dont think i want want something that launches at such high speeds some how breaking half way into the launch.

Thats wierd, I wonder how it got a dent.

That is a parts container just liek I fill with car parts every day at work, excpet that one is plastic but has a metal covering on the outside.  Nothing to worry about, see the plastic feet on the bottom of each of those and the cross pieces in there to, that is so you can get a pallet jack or a forktruck in there.

The protective container did it's job I'd say.

The red thing is a hydraulic resevoir if I am not mistaken.  All those hoses have couplings that either go to pumps or various cylinders and such.

I hope a magazine like Rollercoaster goes into the details of how this system will work.  After Superman The Escape opened up they ran a very detailed article about the entire launch system.  It was absolutely facinating.

There is no on time, yet.  Knotts is open 364 days a year, and I don't think Knotts has announced a date.
