Vacation in Orlando
The 300 tower at old town is pretty cool, but the rest of the park is terrible. Depending on how your financial situation just know that Epcot and the Magic Kingdom will gauge you for everything your worth to a degree at their counter services, and even more so at their sit down restaraunts. MGM Studios is by far the best park at WDW and Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, and Splash Mountain makes a trip to the Magic Kingdom worth it.
The best deal I've found, though, is the Universal 5 day flex ticket which is I believe Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Wet & Wild for $202 (I think)
Other things worth seeing would be Cape Canaveral and the one of the beaches (although I'd avoid Cocoa as its pretty dirty)

I am heading out in 8 days to Orlando myself (3rd time). I got the five park - 14 day pass and that is definately the way to go. There is so much to do in Florida (especially Orlando). If you are not one for commandoing theme parks the whole time, there is the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico which are both about an hour to hour and a half away in either direction. There is the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral as well. In Orlando there is Seaworld, the Universal parks, the Disney Parks, and Old Town. Also there is alligator thing in Orlando somewhere but not sure exactly where. I saw something on Travel Channel about a boat tour you can take and you can see wild monkeys along the river. Supposedly some movie company lost them and well, the monkeys do what monkeys do and all of a sudden you have a small native monkey population. If you are going in the near future, I know that some museum down there has some kind of Titanic exhibit as well. My wife has been pestering me about going to that one(I would rather shoot myself).

Definatly goto BGT too. Montu and Kumba are sweet, the park is very nice, and Scorpion is just a funny little ride that you have to go on. If you go there, skip Rhino Rally... that has horrible waits due to the way they load it. Gwazi has bad loading procedures, too, and the day I went, was extremely rough with no airtime, both sides. I still enjoyed it though, but Montu and Kumba are worth it alone. I wrote a TR a few days ago, it should still be on the top page of TRs if you want to look at it.

If ya have the cash, Discovery Cove is awesome. You can do it cheaper without the dolphin swim and it is still a great experience. I beleive you can get info. on flex tickets at Universal's site. If you need any Disney info--check out www.wdwig.com
