B&M Hyper Height Requierments

what is the height requierment for Any of the B&M Hypers ? And is the Height requierment the same for all B&M's ?

At least for Nitro it was I believe 54 inches. All the other ones Iv'e seen are also 54 inches (I live out in CA, but have been to Great Adventure, and Batman, Medusa, and the hyper Nitro were all 54 inches). Out here same thing, with Riddlers and Batman.

Are any of them 48" ? Titan is 48" and the ride height is 245ft. Nitro is only 230' and the height requierment is 54" What is up with that ?!?!?!?

I think all B+M coasters have 54" requirements.... Titan was built by Giovanola.

It depends on the park. I know my home park, SFGAm has a requirement of 54" for the big ones. CP on the other hand has a 52" requirement for MF (to the best of my knowledge. I know B&M's do not have a universal 54", Busch FLA has a 52", and as far as I remember Busch WB has the same...

Millennium Force's height requirement, the first year it opened was 52" or 54" I dont remember, but now they have revised it to 48".

Becuase B&M hyper you are loser than on a giovanola so the difference in height restriction.

The height requirements have nothing to do with how tall the ride is or who manufactured it.  They have more to do with the forces that riders are subjected to and how the restraints will work on a person of a certain size or height.

Who cares, if your tall enough.

The manufacturer usually sets heigh requirements, based on what the ride exerts on the rider and the restraints.

Yeah obviously the park can make the restriction tougher (i.e. raise it).  I suppose they could lower it but I think that would be sort of foolish.

I don't think B&M have any coasters of any type with a height requirement other than 54". Here in Florida there are quite a few and all the others I know of are 54" also. Goliath, Titan, MF, Steel Dragon(no one in Japan is 54" tall, LOL), Magnum are all 48" but aren't B&M coasters.

All B&M's I have seen are 54". I think they should look into finding a way to lower those restrictions to 52" or 48". Wouldn't a coaster be more appealing to a park if more people could ride it? Then again, the high requirements keep the line down a little, so I shouldn't be complaining.

Actually, I stand corrected. Apollo's Chariot has a height requirement of 52"(stated on their website). Kumba and Montu are 54", though.

B:TR at SFOG has a 54" height requirement, so does the Scorcher and most likely S:UF too.
