Six Flags marketing does it again

The reason it takes so long to load is because the idiots have the image linked to a 3276 X 2144 pixel photo, so it loads that whole image and displays it at a smaller size rather than loading an "actual" smaller image... That why it takes like a hour to load for you 56K'ers....

Dumb.

Also, SFOG has Viper listing in it's poll for their top coasters, It defently got my vote! :)

You're complaining about them showing Raging Bull for Nitro? They're the same type coaster. I don't find it to be a big deal.
It's the off-season, we have to look for things to complain about. Six Flags provides the easy target every year. ;)

Have you ever considered that it may not be the park that's the problem, but YOU???

I think the GP notices those types of things but not as often. I remember before i was really into rollercoaster i would look at advertisments for coaster and say that isent the exsact ride at the Scream machine. Or  i remember they showed rollingthunder as some huge wooden rollercoaster meanwhile when i rode it and saw it i noctied it wasent the same ride (it was the texas cyclone which i later learned). Now i know not evenryone notices these things but some do.
I speak for many when I say we are not complaining.  I could care less how they market the ride...as long as it's a good ride, it doesn't bother me.  I was just stating that it is interesting that they do this and it is actually quite funny.

yeah, when SFNE advertized for S:RoS it showed Viper and i got mad when i saw that it doesn't go upside down. but i've gotten over it cuz i luv airtime.

Six Flags New England loses its "floor" for 2002!!!
Visit www.geocities.com/sfneguy for info. about SFNE!!!
It happens all the time, when S:ROS came out at SFA, they were showing a coaster with loops and S:SROS is a hypercoaster without loops. I think it was a picture of Viper at SFMM, not sure though. I don't really care about the false advertising though cause I will already know about the new coaster before it opens.

Here are a few more that have existed and some that still do.

• Magic Mountain's rushed Déjà Vu TV ads before summer season closed for sure and used clips taken from the S:UE TV ads at SFWoA combined with clips of the animation. But all other MM TV ads are original and display and ONLY display their own coasters

• SFoT's page has a photograph of Goliath in place for Titan

• SFGAm used a green color edited photograph of a Vekoma Invertigo for their Déjà Vu

• Nitro on SFNJ's site is Raging Bull @ SFGAm

• SFMW 2000 brochures advertised their Medusa with SFNJ 1999 Medusa photos

• Rolling Thunder on SFNJ's site is Colossus @ SFMM

• The Georgia Scorcher on SFoG's site is a pic of Chang @ SFKK

Oh another hilarious and idiotic one. When S:UE first opened, the Six Flags Ohio site *as it was back then* used a picture of SFMM's S:TE, except they edited ou the picture so that it was a single vertical track going up 415 FT. tsk tsk tsk

Lust wondering, why do some people call  it SFNJ.  Was the park previously called this.  I have heard alot of people say this.

Intamin Fan cool your N**s man, I wasn't complaining! I was clearly pointing it out. Gez, you really need to keep things to yourself. A lot of people at my school thought Nitro was Red and Orange. The commercail didn't show Nitro, it was showing Raging Bull.

It's easier to use SFNJ (NJ as for the park's location - New Jersey) than actually doing this : SFGAdv

B&M ROCKS: Six Flags Great Adventure also has the Wild Safari park and Hurricane Harbor right next door.  Though it is officially all called Six Flags Great Adventure, locals and enthusiasts often refer to the whole complex as Six Flags New Jersey.  To us it's sort of becoming our own little New Jersey "Disney World"...hey, we've got 3 parks already!

Just as a dumb little update, they have a friendlier image now...
Nitro230ft., if you brought it up, then you obviously have a problem with it. By the way, it's spelled "commercial".
Honestly, I hardly ever hear someone refer to the complex as SFNJ... there are actually a lot of people that still call the place Great Adventure, perhaps refusing to believe that the place is a Six Flags property.
