What does the lift on Tennessee Tornado look like?

I haven't been able to find any pictures of it.  The base of the lift (all I could find) appears to be tubular supports, but I'd like to know if they continue that way, like a B&M lift, or if they're complex, like the old Arrow lift hills.
Yes, the lift uses tubular supports: http://starcoasters.com/parkgalleries/dollywood/tornado1.JPG

Thanks.  I also notice they exaggerate the top speed quite a bit.  128 foot drop does NOT equal 70 MPH.

Although I've not ridden this one yet, it looks quite nice. OK, so it took 25 years, but Arrow FINALLY got rid of the same size loops and corkscrews!

Well, keep in mind the coaster has a lot of speed entering the drop, as there is about a 25 foot drop before the turn entering the tunnel and the main drop. It may not hit 70, but it goes pretty fast (and feels very fast).

Is there a reason why this coaster has gotten so much publicity lately on this site? Just curious. Is it really good?
It's really that good compared to previous Arrow work, so I always hear.

I'd have to agree with Ravenguy here.  It's by far my 2nd favorite Arrow (Magnum of coarse is my #1).  It really blew me away.  I was expecting a typical arrow looper when I first rode and I was put in total shock.  It's just amazing.

It looks really rusty in that picture. Is that by design like on Nemesis?
Its not rusty.  Its just the color scheme.

Never rode it, but this looks very nice, and like its back in the woods, ala BGW rides.

Yea, you got it this is the infamous Token from the worlds greatest, KPU.
Kinda straight. Kinda steep. Kinda tall. Everyone claims TT is too good to be "Arrow", but it is! X has overshadowed it lately, but it is truly night and day from the loopers 10 years ago. Worth the $37.50 alone.

Can anyone else recommend any websites with pictures of this ride? I'm suddenly very interested!

Tenn. Tornado is AWSOME! Its better than Arrow or B&M!  The actuall topspeed of the ride is 65mph.  A good site for pitures of it is www.starcoasters.com. It may be short but the speed and intensity makes up for it.

(Spanglais)Hey-seus!(End Spanglais) That is one funky looking loop: http://www.rcdb.com/full/dollywood/tennessee-tornado3.jpg ! It looks like something out of a bad No Limits roller coaster design!

I believe someone mentioned it above, but my site, Starcoasters.com, has a good bit of coverage. Look in the Ride Reviews section for the in-depth TT review, and go to Dollywood in the Park Galleries section for a lot of pics :). I really love this ride, and I would say it is my 4th favorite looping coaster, probably behind Top Gun (carowinds), Volcano, and Mindbender (SFoG).
