Out of the coasters i've ridden here is wat i rank them overall:(ive been to canobie lake and SFNE)
1. S:RoS 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Riverside Cyclone 4. Canobie Corkscrew 5. Thunderbolt 6. Galaxy 7. Mind Eraser 8. Dragon coaster 9. poison ivy's tangled
umm no, How could the supposedly shorter one be faster?

wouldnt it fly off the track if it was that short. And why would they make the slower one taller?

All three Intamin shuttles at the SF parks are identical...so obviously one of the parks is mistaken.
Not for long will they be identical...  ;)

RCDB is wrong sometimes.  It says Expedition GeForce is 173ft. tall which is clearly not true. There was a topic a while back about this

I can't explain the speed differences, but the height is probably measured from the top of the spike, to the ground directly below it. If one ride is built on sloping land, than one of the spikes will be higher off the ground.

It's the same reason that all the Batmen have slightly different 'heights'.
