I, BBSpeed26, have released my version of Xcelerator, the upcoming Intamin hyper at Knott's Berry Farm.  Constructed totally from the artists renderings on screamscape, this is the most accurate recreation to date.  It is avaliable here.  Please Review and Rate.  Thanks

Looks good!  I successfully produced my first crash as well.  It seems that, should the LIMs stop half-way through and the train valleys, it likely will have too much speed to be stopped by the station...

I hope the real one doesn't have this problem!!!

Otherwise, nice job!

I know, to counter this, I assume they could develop a computer system to fire the LIMs enough to slow it down and have it enter and be stopped by the station.  But, yes, I can make it crash too.  I'm trying to work around it.  Any more?

Hey, I downloaded it and it comes up as an icon on my screen. I click on the icon and it brings me to the No Limits editor. I want to save it as a No Limits track but it doesn't list my No Limits tracks. How do I see it in the simulator?

You need to place it into your No Limits track directory.  Find your No Limits folder, then inside will be a folder that says tracks.  Place it in there, and you can then ride it.

Hey cdrpointcrazy4!  Now that you've figured it out, why not post a review?  *nudge* Come on, please?  Hey!! I've got an idea!  Then maybe other people will do the same! *coughnudge*

But seriously, any more reviews?  It might help cure this d&@# *cough* cold.   :-)
Thanks!

I'd say place some really strong brakes just after the launch, and some on the straight section of the upwards climb.  That should help in an E-Stop.

the supports are great! They look just like the supports in the drawing.

I clicked on that link, and all I got were a bunch of wacked-out symbols...

I wouldn't know why you can't get it, Nessy would be the one to talk to there, and I'll work with the E-Stop issue... I'm thinking of changing it to a tire launch system, and then having the first 1/2 or so of the launch actually being brakes, with tires on them that act like a launch.  I'll post screenshots mid-late week.  Thanks for the reviews!

Hey again all!  I've been unable to solve the E-Stop problem to my liking, due mainly to the maximum brake speed being 60mph.  But anyway, I've got pictures now, for all the NL challenged to drool over :)  Here they are http://screenshots.digital-coaster.com/bbspeed26/xcelerator/
So go there, get the track, and drool, but try not to short out your keyboard.

It looks really good.  The top of the outside top-hat is awesome!!!!  Just curious if Xcellerator will not have any supports for the top of the top-hat like in the NL and will have 5 car trains.  I also thought that at least one of the turns was going to be overbanked, but it could be an S:RoS SFNE style turnaround (just under 90 degree banking).

I think I have a way around your station-runback problem. Make the 180 degree turn behind the station brakes (but not block brakes) with tires so the train can move forward once it stops. That probably will work if the section is long enough. Of course it probably will take one block out.
