Coastermania ?s

Im a new ACE member(ya!) and Ive never been to CM and I have some questions.

Can I bring a friend. If I can does it cost money and how much if it does.

The park opens at ( AM correct. So we get there at 7:30 we get in before it opens? And its open till Midnight so my guess is the park is closed then too. Nobody but other coaster club members can do ERT for CM, right?

And are we ACE members allowed to ride other rides than those of ERT?

Thanks for the info if you can answer.

Cant wait!

Yes, you can bring a friend, and it cost the same as a regular ticket, or you can use your season pass.

Yes, we are in the park before it opens, and after it closes, and everyone who is a coaster enthusiast and has the coastermania badge (including your non-enthusiast friends who came) can do the ERT.

Durring ERT, thats usualy when the park is closed, so only those rides are open to us, but when the park opens its gates and the other rides open, they are free game.

I highly suggest getting there *when registration starts* too...do not underestimate the amount of people this event draws, it's by far the heaviest enthusiast gathering out there with numbers usually being in the 2000 range.

I know this year I'll be cutting my morning ERT short to line-up for WT before the "Running of the Bulls" can even get started, the "ERT" lines for that in the evening are going to be brutual to the ninth power.

I'm anxious to see where people will be running this year. My hope is that it's to WT, but who can tell. At least now we'll have the most viable short cut yet from the beach gate.

This is probably a stupid question, I've been searching my mind and I can't figure it out, what is CM and WT?  Is it some kind of abbreviation that ACE uses?  I'd join ACE but I would only be able to go to the SFGAm to meet up with them so it seems kind of pointless.

6:00am in the morning wow! When we get there which gate do we go to the main entrance or the beach gate? Also this is my first time to coastermainia would anyone suggest getting there around 4:30am or 5:00am in the morning to avoid lines at the gates, and as coasterbuzz club members do we have to registure when we get there to get in? May & June defently will be a big one!

CM means CoasterMania.

WT means Wicked Twister.

I wouldn't suggest getting there *before* registration starts because the rides don't start until a good hour after that begins anyway...just be punctual and get there on time and you should be fine. Everyone has to go in through the main gate and they usually do a little introduction speech thing before everyone takes off for the rides.

And as for registering itself, yes, you have to, everyone has to as there aren't any pre-registration options and even if there were I don't think it could possibly go any faster as they open up all the season pass/group sales windows and the staff are usually working at top speed to try and get people's buttons and meal tickets handed out promptly.
