SFNE Season Pass upgrade question

At most Six Flags parks, you can upgrade a regular admission to a season pass during the day by dropping by the season pass office.  Anyone know if you can do this if you had a discounted regular admission (through work or school or some other promotion)?  Specifically at SFNE, but I assume the policy blankets all SF's.

If it works, I'll have my SF season pass for $40. =)

that is a good question...
I am going to SFMM in march. I know I will be paying a lot more for the season pass the out here in Great Escape country. When I go there I want to go on rides first, not wait in line for a pass while everyone is going on rides.

wet. Aint down but i cant get up yet. Its a long ride back to the way i want to feel.

It might work w/ the lazy sf employees but if it was a responsible employee you probably wouldn't get away w/ it.

Well, if they don't make you present a ticket stub or anything, then they won't know what kind of admission you had.
