Official SFDL announcement...

the official SFDL announcement is going to be on January 30th...they'll be announcing the chute the chutes and according to the web site new attractions and some other stuff...go to www.sixflags.com/darienlake to see for yourself.

If you have to figure out how to ride a coaster to be comfortable, then that's not a coaster worth riding.

Expect a nice surprise for SFDL.. (well, at least something I can look forward to, since I am not very fond of Shipwreck Falls... hopefully my source was a reliable one :)... not a coaster though =P)

I've always wanted body slides at SFDL, I think this is our chance!

Yeah I saw it so it looks like SFDL will finally be getting some new stuff this year while checking the SFA site I came across the list of shows and it reads "check back soon for information on our four new live shows for 2002!".So as far as SFA's concerned they'll be adding new shows this year it doesn't list any new rides yet,also SFA will be open on November 1st and 2nd this year.

Well, if this other "thrill" in addition to shipwreck falls is anything less then an S&S dtop/launch tower, it won't help this park.  This place is needs at least 1 major coaster to get back in the game.  Fortunatly for myself, I won't be near sfdl this summer....i will be near much better parks...

What do you mean get back in the game?? SFDL attendance last season was up!!  I don't think it has gone down in a really long time so they must be doing something right!! (Alough, a s+s tower or coaster would be nice).

Does anyone think that we may get a flat ride or permanent sling shot at least? I thought for sure before that they'd get an total insanity but now that vertigo fell over, i'm not so sure...didn't someone say that six flags ordered six of those before though?
